Chat 'Bout Cleveland unifies Caribbean Community to salute 'The Best of the Best'
Euclid, Ohio February 25, 2011 -- Chat 'Bout Cleveland presents:
The 3rd Annual Criss List Awards Bash on Sunday, March 13, 2010 at Caribbean Flavor, located at 321 Babbitt Road in Euclid Ohio. Red Carpet entry for the event begins at 6pm followed by the awards show at 7pm. The event will end at 10pm.
Developed in 2008, The Criss List Awards showcases 'The Best of the Best' of Cleveland's Caribbean community in music, events and business. Nominees of the awards are selected by Chat 'Bout Cleveland readers and winners are determined by an online voting process. The Criss List Awards results are announced live at the annual event.
The 3rd Annual Criss List Awards Bash will be hosted by International recording artist, Fudgie Springer, with music by DJ Lava Ranks and live performances by Jah Messengers and pre show performance by Ras Gato's Gullah Gumbo.
Entertainer, Fudgie Springer is an accomplished reggae dancehall DJ and recording artist under the Lamar Clan Record Label. Springer has won the respect of the dancehall community on both the national and international level with performances in Jamaica, Germany and Japan.
DJ Lava Ranks is one of Cleveland's brightest rising stars in the music industry and a true crowd pleaser. Lava has reached a diverse audience throughout many venues in Cleveland. Lava is also known on a nationally through travels to New York, Minnesota, Detroit and Washington, D.C.
Named as one of Cleveland's longest running reggae bands, Jah Messengers has released several albums including, "A Long Way Home". As winners of the 2009 Best Band, Jah Messengers bought the house down at last year's event and had audience members calling for more.
